Corn
cobs can be peeled with a special DORNOW machine. The maize kernels
will be separated from the stalk. The peeled stalks drop off at the end
of the machine.
Kernels and juice flow through a chute for further processing. The
machine also “peels” corn cobs in pieces (rejects).
